Our 9Ply High Density Polyethylene Knotted Netting is a 1st Grade, light weight, high strength netting suitable for permanent indoor AND outdoor installations. The 9/ Strand & Black colour design ensures the netting is unobtrusive, and the high GSM ensures the netting is designed to last, even in trying environmental conditions. This netting is simple and efficient to work with. Being a square mesh design, it can significantly reduce installation times and labor costs. Edge Treatment

Rope

Our most common edge finish the majority of netting applications. Simple, yet durable & convenient.

Rope Edging

The most commonly applied net finish is “Rope Edging”. A Rope Edge finish entails a rope
(of 6mm Diameter) being overlock stitched to the perimeter of the net using a
purpose designed industrial sewing machine. The machine will intertwine 3 individual threads around the rope to bind the rope to the netting. Given the
design of the machine, it is capable of facilitating the use of very heavy duty and UV treated threads.

The rope edging provides additional strength at the attachment point of your netting and also neatens the finish.

Polyester Webbing with Eyelets

A 40mm tape border with eyelets for attachment. A pliable fabric material.

Polyester Webbing

Our polyester webbing tape is 80mm wide, which when folded around the edge of the netting, creates an effective 40mm border. Available in Black only, the polyester material has been UV treated for continued use outdoors.

We use a twin needle sewing machine to stitch a double layer of thread to secure the netting.

Stainless Steel SP6 eyelets can be inserted at either 50cm or 1m intervals approximately.

Weighted Rope

Used on the 'bottom' of netting panels to provide additional weight and stability.

Weighted Rope

Our 12mm Weighted Rope (Black) can be attached to the bottom of your netting panel to provide additional weight and stability to a net. The weight is approximately 360 grams per metre.

Weighted rope is commonly installed at the bottom of sports barrier nets where attaching
to a fixed cable at ground level is not suitable.

A stainless steel SP6 eyelet will be installed at APPROX 50cm spacing (spacing discretion based on overall dimensions).

Eyelet Positioning

We provide an option for Eyelets to be positioned at approximately 1m OR 50cm spacing.

If your net is exactly "on the metre" such as 3m x 5m, the eyelets can be positioned equally apart at either of the available intervals.

Should your net be an "odd size" such as 2.1m x 4.7m, our operator will position the eyelets (evenly spaced) as close as possible to the ordered interval of 1m or 50cm.

Net Tension

Unlike other materials such as glass or timber, netting measurement is done by hand and can be tensioned at various levels when cutting to size. We provide 2 options, either taught (reasonable tension is applied to either end of the net when the measurement is taken), or relaxed (the net will be simply laid on the floor and measured in a relaxed state). Taught measurements are commonly seen in safety & loft netting installations whereby relaxed is the norm for sporting applications.
