Although these excellent nettiing needles/shuttles are not genuine bone, but a type of bone coloured strong synthetic, they are a dream to use, smooth passage through the loops, and easy release of more yarn when needed. Easy to load, too.
Great product. We bought heavier net last year and it was awesome. The fruit was excellent and no flies got through. Needed extra and larger pieces this year for additional trees and look forward to having an amazing harvest.

Last hear I had ten nectarines on my new dwarf plant but everyone was ruined by fruit fly infestation although I had netted it with what was claimed to protect it.
This year I have about 28 nectarines on the plant and I looked for a net that would really protect it. I’ve also planted a dwarf Pomegranate in the same area and was finding it hare to get the right size net to cover both, so when I found the Quatra net at 5m x 5m I ordered it and it looks like the prefect fit to cover both plants. Looking forward to nectarines for breakfast coming up.
Easy to deal with, Haverford were able to supply excellent quality netting meeting wildlife safety standards. I was unable to find similar product in Victoria where I live. Product arrived the following day by post.

If you are in the market for an unintrusive golf net, this is an excellent option.
Ability to easily remove the net alone, or/and post if access is required, have withstood strong winds (80kph) without issue. Quality of the post is average (gauge of steel & finish), quality of the net appears premium.

This is the 3rd roll of netting I have purchased from Haverfords over the last a few years for separate gardening projects. It really stands up to the weather here in Tasmania. Importantly, I bought it for wildlife safety - possums and birds can't tear holes in it and lizards can't get caught up in it. Possums do climb over the net on the vegie garden, but no damage done to net or vegetables! The roll arrived as promised, wrapped very well, and good communications kept me up to date with delivery progress.

it worked to deter the ducks from our pool but we had to hook the net on the pool fence off the ground closing off the pool area because they were still landing when it was lying in the water. so there is no more poo in and around the pool.
We have a backyard swimming pool which we love - however so too do the local bird life. We don’t mind sharing with some birds, however recently a pair of wild ducks started to frequent the pool - always after dusk and in the early morning. They were leaving duck poo everywhere in the water and around the edges (we couldn’t believe two birds could produce so much). After many mornings spent cleaning up the mess and trying a range of other duck deterrents (none of which worked well), and having heard many tales of woe about ducks in pools from others who have the same issues, we bought some 60mm square 12 ply bird exclusion netting from QUATRA to put over our swimming pool (it is stretched on top of the fence so the whole pool area is netted off) to stop the ducks from entering. Works like a charm. After a couple of failed attempts to get to the pool area the ducks seem to have got the message and we haven’t seen them for the last week. We will keep it in place for a while to make sure. Highly recommended product.
Looks great ,bit thin on end but hopefully won't collapse like my 7 m telescopic pole.

After just two days we just watched three ducks land in our pool and swim around without being impeded by the net. We have installed it as tightly as we can, a few cm above the water level, but the weight of the ducks was enough to make it dip into the water. $90 inc postage down the drain. Very disappointed.
